How to recover my Network key on my wireless connection at home?

GanRtease asked:

I am trying to get my work laptop hooked up to my wireless connection at home. It wouldn’t connect because I suspect the network key might be wrong when it’s attempting to authenticate. Is there an easy to figure out what the network key is if you’ve forgotten? Btw – I use a Linksys router

Blair asked:

How do you network printers and scanners in a small business computer networking? What equipment do you need (i.e. plugs, devices) in order to do this? Is networking printers and scanners provided by computer networking IT like at&t, or something with no service cost you can do on your own? Is it in anyway correlated with wireless internet networking in a small business office?

How can I introduce artificial delay on an a Cisco router interface. (long ping times)?

Posted under Uncategorized by mekichan on Saturday 25 April 2009 at 8:46 pm

We currently have a Cisco 3540 router with some T1/E1 VWIC. We are currently experiencing about a 14ms delay when we ping them. We would like to introduce some artificial delay to get us around 40ms to see if our application can handle latency. I have tried configuring the interface, with delay, and transmitter delay but nothing works,

The recent rise in the US Dollar against the pound is causing chaos for Cisco distributors who are having to re-quote and re-quote again or risk losing money on Cisco orders. Some organisations are reporting that this is helping to speed up the process of closing Cisco deals before the appreciation of the dollar affects prices further, where some distributors are claiming that rising prices and uncertainty are putting customers off purchasing and are looking to cheaper alternatives.

Comstor, one of the UK’s largest Cisco distributor has reported a 12% rise in prices to account for the fluxuation, other Cisco giants such as Zyko are following suit. NB Data’s Cisco Sales Director Mr Kamran Maqbool commented “we are assessing prices daily to ensure that we can deliver the best prices for our customers and in many cases we are taking a hit on our margins.”

The question everyone is asking is what are Cisco going to do to assist the UK market and put resellers at ease. Cisco so far have been reluctant to comment.

The popular cisco handsets are the CP-7911G, CP-7940G, CP-7941G, and the CP-7961.  Businesses using these handset should be prepared to dig deep in the future if they wish to place new handsets on desks.  Supplier promoting refurbished goods may find that they could soon be out performing the Cisco partners in the supply of handsets.  NB Data support this notion as they have seen a dramatic rise in the sales of their Grade A stock.
