I want to have a dynamic IP address rather than a static IP address. How do I go about changing it. My server is verizon if that matters.

Can a person’s mailing address be located after his/her IP address has been found? In other words, could authorities find out where you live by your IP address on your computer?

I have found the IP address after studying how to read the email header, however when i tried to locate the IP address, the address is somewhere in New Jersey. Maybe im reading it wrong or maybe there is spam in my email header. Can someone please help me read this email header since its very important for me to find the sender of the email

I had someone create a bogus yahoo e-mail and make it appear that it was me and sent out very humilating e-mails with this e-mail. I paid to find out the name of the account, but they just used bogus info to set up the account. Is there a way I can get the IP address or trace the original e-mail?

I need to find the IP address (or the MAC address) of the actual machine that is using my web application. Getting it from the server variables at the server end will not work because the user machines are behind proxies. I need a client-side scripting solution. The users are agreeable to the web application checking for their machine IP and will allow it.

When you setup a website on Windows Server 2003, and you enter the private ip address under the website properties, how does the end client find the IP address from just using the domain name? Also, since the IP address entered is private, how is this even possible? How do I associate my registered domain name to the ip address that I have configured on the website? The IP address provided is private because the windows server 2003 box is behind the router, and I am assuming NAT is being done on that router. Setting up port forwarding on the router is necessary I know.
