Does anyone have any tips for an interview with Cisco?
I’m an electrical engineering major hoping to graduate in one year, and got an interview for a summer internship with Cisco. More than general interviewing tips, I’m looking for pointers on what to expect in specific. What should I study? What should I ask them? Does anyone know what the procedure there is like? Of course everything helps, so fire away!

Interviews are independent and unique in every way. When approaching an interview try and make sure you have their company researched and understood. You always want to be direct with your answers and try no to be too wordy.
Some common questions to ask:
What exactly would my duties me as an intern for Cisco?
What are some of the benefits that you apply for (vacation, sick days, etc…)?
Does majority of your full time employees have a history of internships with Cisco?
* Remember that these are only asked if they aren’t addressed*
Their procedure would you will probably meet with someone from HR and/or the department you will be working in. They will ask questions about your classes, personal interest, etc…
Good Luck!!!
