How can I get around Cisco Clean Access Agent?

I have windows vista with the most recent version of Cisco Clean Access Agent. I just want to be able to go to some of the blocked websites.

    Take a look at a program called Freedom -

    You can run it from a USB stick.

    What exactly is this? I thought Clean Agent was just an optional network access program – isn’t filtering still done by the routing/filtering server…

    Try a proxy, Google “anonymous proxy” and you’ll find a lot of them.

    CCA does not typically block Web sites – it would be a very inefficient method for this. Instead is posture asses a host before network access (port level) is granted to a device. It is most likely something upstream that is blocking the site. If they were using CCA to block a site, it would be difficult to get around – you’d need to tunnel to a permissible site and re-initiate from there.
