How can I transfer network connections from one computer to another?

Posted by mekichan on Monday 27 April 2009 at 5:33 pm
ScottB asked:

I am trying to copy network connections, more precisely wireless connections from one computer to another. I l know about the file & settings transfer wizard but not sure if these settings will be transferred. Also, I now about the disk at the end of the network setup guide but being it is a neighbors computer I would rather not risk losing the one computer connected to the network and internet. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello!

If you only need the network connections copied, you can right click on MY NETWORK NEIGHBORHOOD and select PROPERTIES and double click one connection of LAN- OR HIGH-SPEED INTERNET.

Click on PROPERTIES and on INTERNET PROTOCOL(TCP-IP). There you can write down the settings of the network settings.

    hope it helped…
