IP address?

Posted by mekichan on Tuesday 20 October 2009 at 2:10 pm

Can a person’s mailing address be located after his/her IP address has been found? In other words, could authorities find out where you live by your IP address on your computer?

Every box has a unique IP DNS/MAC address that if you ever look at or study GPS, it is fairly easy to figure out. Is done with cell phones every day. same principle , but that uses a more localized triangulation.
    So yes, and Yes

Off the cuff, yes, it can be easily traced, but there are different ways to mask your original IP ADDRESS. It all depends on what sort of mischief you want to get into.

btw – human_beandip you might wanna check your spelling skills; it’s address.
