<div><br/><br/><br/>I need to run a &#8220;snake test&#8221; on a Cisco switch.  Assuming I have 8 interfaces, how would I construct a configuration in Cisco IOS to perform a snake test? [In case you don&#8217;t know, a snake test is where you connect ports 2 and 3, ports 4 and 5, ports 6 and 7, with Ethernet cables and inject traffic into port 1 so that the packets will traverse the snake.  Packets enter port 1, go out port 2 and into port 3, go out port 4 and into port 5, etc.</div>
